Pantomimed in the Disney film, Cool Runnings (a sad swan song for comedian/actor John Candy), it was still a feat to be reckoned with: a tropical island nation, daring to field a team to represent them in an improbable winter event. But, nothing is achieved without outrageous effort in outrageous circumstances, is there?
