Bob's Birthday...

...featuring the syndicated 60-minute production, "Bob Marley & the Wailers-Live Forever".
Narrated by Jon Langford (Mekons, Waco Brothers, WXRT's Eclectic Company), interviews with Rita, Damien and Rohan Marley, Marcia Griffiths, author Vivien Goldman and Doug Gebhart.

The final performance, Pittsburgh (PAs) Stanley Theater, Sept. 1980.
Gravely ill... and still testifying with a commanding performance, with a band at its one-drop creative peak, and celestial harmonies from the I Three.
Without question, this was a band made to be heard live. This is the next, best thing.

Streaming for two weeks at WTJU's Tape Vault.
